Selva Verde in on the edge of a river and several hundred acres of old growth rain forest. While here, we went on guided day and night jungle hikes, white water rafting, and horse back riding. We will then drive to Liberia, Costa Rica where we will leave our car and fly home for a couple of weeks.

Today we crossed over to Costa Rica.  Typical border crossing: crowded , chaotic.  We had to get 4 or 5 stamps from 4 or 5 different officials on the Nicaragua side to take our car out of the country.  We got through in about 2 hours.  We then drove on to Selva Verde ecoresort in the mountains northwest of San Jose.
